It’s week 26 of our 52 week series!
That means we are halfway through 2021!
This week we are focusing on John 15:16-17. Look at the beginning…”I chose you.” YOU have a purpose. He has chosen us to bear fruit. Think about that. It reminds us that we are working to grow God’s kingdom.
What does “fruit” look like in your life? Are you raising kingdom builders? Are you teaching and sharing God’s Word with others? Are you showing kindness and generosity to others?
Bearing fruit can look different in all of our lives, but what is the same for all of us is we can ask God for exactly what we need in Jesus name and it will be given to us!
If it’s important to you it’s important to God. He will give us what we need especially when it is for helping with your “fruit.”
Don’t hesitate in your prayer life. He wants to bless us and equip us with all that we need to do His work here on earth. Be bold with your prayers!
And of course do not forget to love one another. Our love, especially when it”s hard, is a testament of who we belong to. God is love. When we can love, that shines Christ to others.
