It’s week 7 in our 52 week Bible verse journey. I know today LOVE is in the air… but I have a confession to make. The date of February 14th marks one of the worst days of my life. (I’ll spare you the details.)
For many, this day is special because you have sweet loving memories with a loved one or you’re currently celebrating love and making new memories.
For others, this day might be hard because it’s a reminder you’re still looking for that special someone, or the love of your life has passed away. That’s why this week, I wanted us to focus on Romans 8:38-39 because no matter what season of life you are in, these verses bring such comfort. Just reading them makes my heart so joyful. NOTHING can separate us from the LOVE of God.
Have you ever felt the heavy weight of a bad decision? Something you did that you knew wasn’t in alignment with God’s word? Maybe it’s even possible that God felt distant? Or like you couldn’t talk with Him because you didn’t feel right about it? I’ve actually been there before. I bet we all have at one time or another. First name / Friend, there is absolutely NOTHING you can do that will separate you from our Father’s love. This Valentine’s Day, my prayer for you is that you feel, to your core, the deep love of God our Father.
